From operating data to a correctly sized solution
In the field of industrial process control, DLOUHY TECHNOLOGY helps customers design, modify and optimize control nodes where the pressure, flow or temperature of the medium must be controlled precisely. This typically includes the design of technological units, sizing of control valves based on operating data, solutions for specific parts of the technology – such as steam circuits, feedwater, cooling or gaseous media – as well as the design or modification of bypasses and recirculation circuits.
This area is important wherever operations face unstable control, fluctuations in pressure and temperature, unsuitable system response or problems under low or variable load. Frequent issues also include cavitation, erosion, noise, excessive valve wear, insufficient pump protection, recurring failures, shutdowns and high service costs. In practice, it often turns out that the problem is not in a single product, but in the way the control node is designed, sized and integrated into the technology.
Our role is therefore to combine engineering and a reliable product solution into one functional system. We work with real operating conditions, correctly size the solution according to pressure, differential pressure (Δp), flow rate, medium and operating mode, and design an arrangement that reduces the long-term risk of cavitation, noise and excessive wear. Protection of critical equipment, especially pumps, piping and heat exchangers, is also essential for us.
This area includes a wide range of solutions – from control valves for pressure, flow and temperature, through pressure reduction of steam, water and gas, steam cooling/desuperheating, pump protection using minimum flow and recirculation, to multi-stage pressure reduction, bypasses and solutions for high Δp, extreme operating conditions or cryogenic applications. Stabilization of control loops and integration of the solution into existing technology are also an integral part of the work.
