I don’t have the exact specification

Send us a photo of the device and its nameplate. In most cases, we can identify the valve even without the exact designation.

How do I choose the right valve?

A valve should be selected according to the medium, pressure, temperature, flow rate, differential pressure and its function in the process. If you do not have all the data, we will help complete them and propose a suitable solution.

I do not know the exact valve type. Can you help?

Yes. In most cases, we can identify the valve even without the exact designation. Send us a photo of the device and nameplate, a basic application description and, if possible, an approximate size.

Where can I find the valve designation?

The type and basic data are most often found on the nameplate on the valve body, actuator or positioner, or in the project documentation. If you are not sure, send us a photo.

What is the maximum permissible supply air pressure?

The maximum permissible pressure is not the same for all equipment. It depends on the specific actuator, positioner and other pneumatic components installed in the assembly.

I need spare parts

Diaphragms, seals, service kits. Original and compatible solutions, including for older valves.

Can you supply spare parts for older valves?

Yes, we can often supply parts even for older valves. According to the device type, we check the availability of original parts, service kits or a suitable compatible solution.

Which spare parts are replaced most often?

The most commonly replaced parts are diaphragms, seals, seats, plugs and some actuator components. The exact selection always depends on the valve type, version and operating conditions.

What do I need to order spare parts?

Ideally, provide the exact valve type or send a photo of the nameplate. Size, pressure rating, version and, if possible, a photo of the complete assembly are also important.

How is a SAMSON positioner initially set up and initialized?

After correct mounting and connection, automatic initialization is started on the positioner. The device detects the valve end positions and adapts the control parameters to the valve and actuator assembly.

The valve is leaking through the seat. What should I do?

If the valve leaks through the seat, check that it closes fully and verify the actuator and positioner settings. Contaminants or worn internal components may also be the cause.

The valve is not working. What can I safely check?

Without dismantling the equipment, check the compressed air supply, electrical power, control signal and any error message displayed by the positioner. Do not interfere with pressurised equipment.

Which equipment do you service and supply spare parts for?

We mainly provide servicing and spare parts for SAMSON Group industrial valves and ELCO burners. Equipment from other manufacturers is assessed individually.

Replacement or modernization

We select the replacement according to the valve’s function in the process, not only by type. Even if you do not have complete data.

What if the valve is obsolete or no longer suitable?

We propose a suitable procedure according to the application, medium and real operating conditions. We do not consider only the original valve designation, but mainly its function in the technology.

Can you replace a valve from another manufacturer?

Yes. Based on available data, documentation or photos, we propose a compatible solution and check its connection to the surrounding technology.
